My dad says I have to get rid of the dog I have had since November 2007. So it is either I find him a home or I put him to sleep or I leave. My dog is eleven years old.. a pitbull.. and is missing an eye. I am actually a naturally very optimistic person, but it is near impossible to find a dog like this a new home. He was already in the shelter four months when I adopted him. Even if I could find him a home… saying goodbye would mess me up. And putting him to sleep? Maybe I would be in jail or in the hospital or dead. Also, I do not want to try couch-surfing with a dog.
Going into the mountains with some gear has become a very real option. Maybe I will go to a secluded area. Maybe I can find campsites with cheap rental fees… but do they have a time-limit? If there is a time-limit I could cycle through campsites.
